Create New Category and Manufacturer

Create New Categories

You can create new product categories in the BRP. 

To create a new product categories, 
Step 1: Go to Catalog > Categories 

Step 2: Click on “Add”. 

Step 3: At the General tab, fill in the required information. 

Details to fill in 

  • Category Name 
  • Description 
  • Meta Tag Title
  • Meta Tag Keywords 

Step 4: At the Data tab, fill in the Parent category. 

Step 5: Press “Save”. 

Step 6: If successful, you will see the green notification message, and you can search for the category you have just created. 

Congratulations you have just created a category in the BRP! 


Create New Manufacturer
You can create a new manufacturer in the BRP. 

To create a new manufacturer, 
Step 1: Go to Catalog > Manufacturers 

Step 2: Click “Add New”. 

Step 3: At the Add Manufacturer page, fill in required information and click “Save”. 

Details required to fill in. 

  • Manufacturer Name 

Step 4: If successful you will be able to see the manufacturer you have just created.
